Roadline Tech Glass Beads are manufactured as per British standard BS 6088 A and AASHTO 247 M to meet the retro reflection of all types of road marking paint e.g. Thermoplastics, Cold Solvent (CR) Water-Based, Cold Plastic two-component to provide excellent night retro-reflectivity.
Chemical composition: Sodium lime glass (SiO2 ≥62%).
Appearance: Clean, transparent, no obvious impurity.
Specific gravity: (g/cm3) 2.4 – 2.6.
Bulk weight (g/cm3): approx. 1.5.
Refractive index: ≥ 1.5.
Spherical beads (%): > 90.
Hardness (Moh’s): 5.5-6.0.
